I'm not seeing that? I'm seeing people saying the "he killed Shae because she hurt his feelings" is a really simplistic way of looking at what was going on there. Tyrion is not a good person. Tyrion is misogynistic. But Tyrion's reasons for killing Shae were knotted up in a whole shitton of other things going on in his life at that moment. It's not simply, "baww she said she loved me!" It's that he had a ton of rage and Shae was there and he was angry at her and took his rage out on her. It's dark. It's not justified. But it's not 100% about Shae and his delusions of love for her, or about Tyrion's inner misogyny, even if those ARE important aspects of the killing. I feel like it does his character a disservice to filter out all the other aspects.

THANK you. I swear, sometimes I think that murder got written in to REMIND people "No, there are no heroes in this story, and if you start thinking there are, I will make you regret it."
