Who gives a shit what a (non-practicing) neuroscientist thinks about vaccination. Try to find me an immunologist who doesn't "believe" in vaccines, then I'll be shaking my head. You might as well have been scandalized that someone with their PhD in literature is anti-vax.

She has a public platform and people know she has a PhD and is presumably an intelligent person. I'd rather there were fewer people like that publicly promoting a view that is going to get people killed.

This. I mean, she's definitely no Jenny McCarthy (and she at least, to my knowledge, does not perpetuate the bullshit claim that vaccines lead to autism) but she's definitely in a position to influence people and she's also a spokesperson for an organization that promotes anti-vaccination ideals (or she was a few years ago at least)
