SA okay it sounds dull as dishwater when put like that. Basically it demonstrates how, despite the fact that we are all intrinsically equal as peoples of the Earth, Western societies got a head start. That head start was tougher crops originating in the Green crescent and long exposure to smallpox - making Europeans in particular generally more resistant. It's a very interesting exploration of how things came to be as they are - although the sheer arrogance of the colonisers will make you want to gnash your teeth.

Not that there weren't a million things wrong with Colonising anyway and and... I'm shutting up now. It's really good, gives you new perspective, that is all .
