For a really long time, the only sex dreams I ever had were about people that I was in no way sexually attracted to: the least intelligent and attractive boy in 6th grade, my uncle (*headdesk*), my hated grad school professor while my mom watched and critiqued (lots of lovely psychology to unpack there, oh yes).

I'm sorry you had to go through that because it sounds absolutely terrible and traumatizing, but ngl, it made me laugh. And you have a point...OP could be dreaming about worse people!

(To OP: maybe it'll pass. Give it some time. If it doesn't...maybe it's a crush? A crush is pretty nonthreatening. Annoying sometimes, but not always a huge deal.)

I think the one about my uncle was the worst because I was thirteen and it happened on the eve of us going on this long summer vacation with him and his family and it was so awkward to be in such close quarters with him immediately afterward. By the time I got to the dream where Dr. Buttface had her way with me on the floor of her office underneath a bookshelf while my mom watched, I was old enough to be all, "Ew, brain, no." and go on with life.

Poor you. I don't even know what to say to that, but I realize looking him in the eye immediately afterward must've been awkward as hell. If you kept your distance as best you could for a while there I wouldn't blame you. (You can't help what you dream, though! At least your older self didn't dwell on the mother one.)

+1, story of my life. I had tons of unwanted sexual thoughts all the time due to my OCD, and also had sex dreams about tons of people I wasn't attracted to, including every member of my immediate family (though not all at once). Having sexual thoughts all the time about pretty much every person I saw (friends, teachers, family members) was annoying enough but I think the most annoying one I ever had was when for some reason I was thinking about George W. Bush and Dick Cheney and suddenly my brain helpfully supplied me a vivid image of a threesome with them, and when I was horrified by it my brain helped even more by making it more and more detailed and dragging it on for a super long time.

Well, needless to say, eventually I got to the point where no sexual thoughts of anyone phase me any more. I also still get the kind of "sigh, why brain why" but I've learned to ignore it. Plus I'm on medication for my OCD now so that helps some. Though I'll still get random thoughts from time to time about fucking my family members and so on.

maybe you could channel it into writing entertaining badfic of crack pairings

i'm sure there's people on the internet who would totally love to read a Dick Cheney and George W. Bush slashfic

Good for those people, but I don't want to read it nor think about and I certainly don't want to write fic of it. I might not be able to help the thoughts but I'm not going to waste my time trying to turn that into written porn.
