You'd be in good company then: so does nearly everyone he meets in SGA and SG1!

But seriously, do you get that he is a fictional character? I liked the McShep show to death, and McKay and Sheppard most particularly (and Teyla, and Zelenka!), but in real life I would despise someone like Sheppard.

However he is a fictional character who cannot be blamed for being a 'cool' idiot with empty 'heroic' rhethoric and sexist attitudes: it would be like blaming a character for the way an inept fanfic writer made him act in a subpar, OOC story!

Are you by any chance losing your perspective on the difference between real people and fictional characters? Because if so, this is a good wake-up call... :)
