Well, if you enjoy gore, you enjoy gore.

As for the Mountain: no, it irks me. Not because of the actor - but they recast him 3 damn times and he looked nowhere similar to the previous one. Like seriously - how are shpow watchers even supposed to know it's the same person?

I felt that way about Daario. I was so damn confused as to who the new actor was supposed to be until someone told me outright haha.

I'm still confused about Daario myself, tbh. I'm warming up to this one, but I'm not thrilled.

I'm not thrilled either. I liked the look of the old one much more. He looked like he walked right out of Xena and I think that look fit petfectly in this series.

It wasn't just the look, it was the attitude. He seemed to ooze mischief.

I agree. I don't think they would have recast so quickly if something hadn't happened behind the scenes to force it. (I.e. - he's a jerk, one of the other leads couldn't stand him and demanded a recast, etc. etc.)

The way I heard it, he left in favour of a film role.

Show watchers might have missed him in the second season with Tywin but I think him being called 'Clegane' and having Sandor tell Arya about the burns again would be enough to let them know that he's the same guy from the first season.

Yeah, but it sort of sucks if you don't know it's the same guy.
