(Anonymous) 2014-06-14 12:55 am (UTC)(link)Basically, there's one standard level of geek, and then it gets progressively deeper in. Do you read fanfic? Do you write fanfic? Do you have a tumblr devoted to them? Do you post on forums? Do you make graphics about it? And so on. Deeper and deeper levels of how much time you spend on your life.
Whereas furries are just...a geek with a particular fetish that actually gets deeper as you go.
