What does men writing these scenes have to do with anything?

Presumably OP's implication is that these scenes are fundamentally unrealistic because the actions depicted are not compatible with the physical nature of being female, which the writers would have known had they been women, instead of men.

I don't know though, that's just my guess.

I don't know. Sometimes you see something and you're just, "This had to be written by a guy or they'd know about [practical issue common to women]." Not sayin this is one of those cases but it happens.

It was more or less my first thought when I saw that scene. I don't care how many showers you take a day, that's going to be unhygenic! Wouldn't want to sit anywhere in THAT house.
