Soooo excited for Dragon Age 3! I loved DA2, but know it had a lot of flaws, but since there was a lot of flack for that I feel like Bioware is really going to try their best with this one. All the introduced characters look awesome, though as of yet we're missing good pretty boys a la Fenris for those gay playthroughs...

Good pretty boy? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I just... Can't see Fenris as particularly good.

He's not particularly bad, though, either. He hates mages, yes, but with good reason. He's basically traumatized. And he'll generally back off if told to.

I didn't say he was, just that he didn't really seem like a good boy.

Also the Quanari is a romance option for "anyone he doesn't feel he'll break" according to articles I've read.

I, uh, wasn't using good with that meaning. Good as in, good at existing as a pretty boy. Not morally good.

I'm so excited, too. I'm sort of hoping the Qunari is a romance option. That could be...interesting.

It looks so good that it's probably going to be the first game I ever buy full price on day one. I'm not so far gone yet that I'll actually pre-order, but it's getting to that point.

I would guess Dorian and Solas are supposed to be the closest we get to pretty boys this time around (why oh why is the elf bald).

Yes...and is it bad I totally intend to have him go the elemental route of mages [since that's what he'll probably be with the staff he has and all] because of it?

Dorian has that evil moustache going on, and Solas is bald.

And looking at the art, did the elf art change again? I actually really loved DA2's art, especially the elves. Beautiful facial structure. Here they seem more, err, human looking again, which makes me sad. The image of Solas is sadly not pretty at all. How soon can we mod some hair on that boy?

Yeah, they changed both the elves and the qunari again. I adored the qunari look from DA2, so we're both a bit sad on that front.

I'm not even kidding when I say I'll be digging into the game files to find and edit Solas's morph as soon as I get the game, and I doubt I'm the only one thinking it. Give it a week.

Yeah, I'm really sad that the male elf (Solas?) is bald, because that instantly disqualifies him from being on my "hot" list ;_;
But there is still one free spot that's not revealed yet and I'm hoping that the rumours are true and it's a character from one of the books, because he has a lot of potential as the "pretty boy" option...

I'm trying not to get too excited because I don't want to be disappointed, but it does look good. If nothing else it should be fun and extremely pretty.

(Though I might not have a PC that will run it when it gets released, so who knows when I'll play it, but I will buy it. It will happen eventually. Mass Effect...not sure about ME, though.)
