I put it in the realm of "no one goes to the bathroom unless it's relevant to the plot" and "sex where there's no wet spot". Things happen differently in TV land.

(And taking a break to show them laying down a towel first most likely isn't plot relevant. Why yes, I do run around my apartment in the buff often. It's my place and my furniture, so why not?)
