An electric shawl. Literally, a shawl you plug into the mains and it heats up.

First off, yes, I'm in a wheelchair and I feel the cold, but I'm not so old I want to wear a shawl. Plus, the problems with my arms means I can't put a shawl over my shoulders anyway, so that thing can stay in the box until I give it away.

That sounds like it would be perfect for me, apart from the bit where all my plug sockets are under my desk, at my feet, and this sounds like a perfect recipe for getting tangled up and falling over and going to A&E with a cut head again.

(I had to tape my long-ass headphone cables to the desk to keep them taut and away from my feet for this precise reason.)
