Eh, on Mother's Day I saw people on Tumblr asking for trigger warnings for Mother's Day stuff because "some people don't have a good relationship with their family." That's very unfortunate, but I'm still posting a trigger warning for it.

As someone who doesn't have a good relationship with my mother, I saw those posts and rolled my eyes.

I seriously doubt anyone with a bad mother is going to think of Mother's Day as anything but another day. It's just another holiday you don't celebrate--you treat it like any other day and if you have to work or be in any situation where people wish you a happy whatever, you just accept the well-meaning sentiment as it's offered.
