+1. I want to see more minorities on TV myself, but it's very obvious when they're just fishing for the inclusivity points, especially when the creators of the show are, to my knowledge, all white(/skinny/etc.) themselves. It's one thing when it's something like the Cosby Show (where it's the brainchild of a black comedian, and all the actors, since it's live-action, are black--so actual POC are having a space and voice in their own representation), but when it's white people who want to look better-than-thou and inclusive by drawing literal fat purple people... well, it's disingenuous, mostly. It's disingenuous to act like you have a stake in the representation of these groups.
