Yes. He's an interesting asshole, basically, who gets better over the course of the books and has an interesting arc but is still an ass. Also, he's a character whose bad actions are justified by the fandom. He doesn't need defending. Whereas Catelyn gets blamed for everything and her bad actions exaggerated and totally needs defending.
