I had Taco Bell for lunch today. I then spent about an hour remembering why I don't usually have Taco Bell for lunch.

It's about what white people think Mexican food is.

In Mexico it's marketed as American cuisine.

It's Americanized Mexican-style fast food. I love their tacos.

There are no Taco Bells in the city I currently live in. I don't think Mexican cuisine (authentic or otherwise) is as prominent in Canada as it is in the US. At least on the West Coast.

Taco Bell is the second-most edible fast food I've ever eaten, behind In-And-Out, provided that you ALWAYS order without their special sauce. The sauce disguises how dry their beans tend to be, but dry beans are a mercy compared to that sauce. (I also recommend the menu items without meat, as meat is usually the worst part of any fast-food experience.)
