I turned 35 today and spent most of it at the doctor trying not to get pneumonia.

Little babies, and their vile, vile hands. Bah. Sometimes I feel like Fiona is participating in an HP warding ritual as she sticks her hands in her mouth and then oh so lovingly and super sweetly (like seriously cutely) tries to smear them all over the inside of my mouth and all over my face. I've been sicker in the year since she's been born than in the entire ten years preceding. They oughta put that on a sex ed poster. DON'T HAVE BABIES BEFORE YOU'RE READY TO LIVE WITH PNEUMONIA! LOL

babies and tiny kids are the WORST when it comes to spreading disease. I never was sicker than when I worked in an elementary school.

so likeable, yet so disease-ridden and unhygienic.

Also, sorry about the whole pneumonia thing. I imagine that wasn't at the top of the list of ways you wanted to spend your 35th birthday. Well, hopefully your little one didn't give you pneumonia as a birthday present. Hope she feels better, too. :)
