I get up in just over four hours, but can't get any sleep because my sleep cycle is fucked.

And I'm working ten days in a row.

I feel ya. Sometimes things you do to get to sleep backfire because of such a shitty schedule. When my place of work was moved to another city, it increased my round-trip commute to 2½ hours (couldn't get out of apt lease), and the additional sitting and stress of driving contributed to back/leg/foot problems and left me with horrible quality of sleep for whatever few hours I could get.

If you can get a nap in, or are able to take an hour to wind down/relax/stretch, please do so. I hope you're also eating somewhat healthy and limiting caffeine to appropriate/productive hours of the day.

I just hat how everything hurts lately. And it's pretty atypical, because I don't usually have this much issues and even when I do, I'm normally quite good with pain. Nw I just wnt to roll up in a ball and sleep. I think my body just hates me for dieting and doing more physical stuf, and I hope it will adjust, but damn.

My feet hurt (was on them most the day) and my toe is still swollen. Fun.

I want more money, or for clothes to be cheaper. (Actually, no, I want both.) Also: fuck clothing sizes. That shit is confusing. (And why is it so difficult to find petite clothing?)

Like anon above said, there needs to be more hours in the day. And I need to not have so many early appointments this week.

My friend keeps blowing all her money on video games (that she's never gonna play) and collectibles, even though her home situation is extremely shitty and she's been planning on moving out for months now.

I live in a pretty, happy little city, but it has the worst dating scene. If there was a national contest, this place would win, easy.

There are very men my age, and the ones I do meet are uneducated and unsocial. Like, we go to the movies and they stare at me during the funny parts to see if I laugh. That kind of unsocial.

I use winged pads, and earlier today I forgot to apply the wings on a new one. It was in my underwear with the wax paper covering still face up and I didn't notice, until I felt blood running down my legs. And another pair of underwear is ruined. I don't know what amazes me more: that I made that mistake in the first place, or that I've never made it before now.

I hate my job! I'm not very good at it, it stresses me the fuck out every minute of every day, and if I could, I'd quit, but I like being able to eat and keep the lights on, and I don't have any kind of backup (although I'm applying to other jobs that would stress me out less).

I had a brief period of good stats at the very beginning but they keep plunging, despite me not doing anything different from then. Shit, if it keeps up like this, I may not have to worry about hating my job because I'll be out on my ass.

I wish I could just go back to my old job, but I would need a work visa again.

I turned 35 today and spent most of it at the doctor trying not to get pneumonia.

Little babies, and their vile, vile hands. Bah. Sometimes I feel like Fiona is participating in an HP warding ritual as she sticks her hands in her mouth and then oh so lovingly and super sweetly (like seriously cutely) tries to smear them all over the inside of my mouth and all over my face. I've been sicker in the year since she's been born than in the entire ten years preceding. They oughta put that on a sex ed poster. DON'T HAVE BABIES BEFORE YOU'RE READY TO LIVE WITH PNEUMONIA! LOL

I got a rejection letter today from a job I applied to in May 2013. Not only was it a year later, the potential employer said I didn't have the requisite proofreading skills (and didn't have a good sense of editing the characters and critiquing the plot). My BA in English and I feel like we just got bitch-slapped. :P

Medicare is that stubborn piece of a shit nugget smeared on Obama's bathroom wall. It's so rancid the flies won't touch it.

No wonder the USA has shitty medical coverage. There is so much red tape to get my dad the care he needs, and it's just gotten worse because he recently turned sixty five. Now it's a fight just to get him his meds, and oh btw my checking and savings account have just enough to disqualify me for medical. So no in home care to give me a break and no way to get dad into a facility that can take care of him.

He has advanced Parkinson's and almost can't do anything for himself anymore. The medical system is fucking failing him on all levels. I swear the bastard insurance companies are TRYING to make us just give up and let him waste away.

I'm staying with my mom for the summer until I move into my new apartment (college student) and I am having to deal with her douche boyfriend. Right now I can't even sleep cause he apparently needs a movie on to sleep and he is keeping this one OBNOXIOUSLY loud to the point that I can hear it right now in my room. I have already told him to turn it down once, and he did a little but I can still hear it. (And this house is super old so the noise keeps rattling my door and its REALLY annoying.)
