For Want Of A Nail/In Spite Of A Nail - change one detail and extrapolate how things change, or not (I read the "In Spite Of A Nail" page on TV Tropes and it's all about how, if you change a major plot point, a whole stack of details still stay the same as canon).

Peggy Sue - Time-travel fit-its. Character wakes up right back at the start remembering the whole plot and tries to change it for a better outcome.

Both of these stay in the canon universe, only playing on how events change do to altered event/time-traveler.
