Having gone through a flea battle in the past, I sympathize! Sounds like you're doing the right thing; since your cat doesn't seem to go outdoors that much, you might've caught it early. I did end up bug-fogging my house because of my two outdoor cats (they were eeeeverywhere :/). Also, YES on the vacuuming/spraying to get all those buggers before they multiply! I think if you medicate, the flea collar isn't necessary (esp if your cat is mostly indoors). Good luck!
