And in case my last bit was confusing to you - I didn't really think about it this way at the time but I can see how it could come across that way - I don't identify as demisexual at all, I'm just pointing out that the attraction I've experienced to men - quite a few, overall - rarely means I actually would like to sleep with them. Even if it's still sexual attraction.
tl;dr to clarify what I meant: even if you are self-identified as demisexual, you can still be attracted to someone and not want to sleep with them

(Anonymous) 2014-06-23 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)The whole idea of demisexuality is that you're essentially asexual until you stumble into a close relationship with someone compatible and you're suddenly like "Wait, what is going on? What are these feelings??" because you never experienced budding sexuality during puberty like most people do.
