I've used writing rape in fics to help me come to terms with my own past rape experiences. Lots of people do it in fandom, you're far from the only one.

In my current fandom, they can't get enough of the rape. I've actually stopped writing graphic noncon as the fandom appetite for it is too much, even for me. Also, I've got it out to a large extent and I don't need to write it any more, at least not for a while.

What I'm trying to say is there's a HUGE market for rape in fic. If you get a reputation as 'that rape girl' that will only be a huge recommendation for many readers.

Use a different name if you like (I use two completely separate names on AO3 myself) but I'm telling you, people will absolutely want to read that kind of fic. They may not comment much on the really graphic fics, but you'll get lots of anon kudos that show you you're not alone.

Personally, I also believe that these kinds of fics help people. I read that about 1 in 7 women have been raped/abused. That's a lot of people that need to work through stuff, and they each have their own different ways.
