Re: What are your thoughts on yaoi?
I still have to like the characters though, and I also have to think the combination of the two of them works on an interpersonal level. I like my slash with a good romance story setting up the hot, hot buttsex.
I haven't shipped yaoi since DBZ, and I don't count most of what I read while I was in Final Fantasy as "yaoi", based on the widespread belief that "yaoi" denotes certain stereotyped roles (seme/uke).
I loves my slash.
