(Anonymous) 2014-06-21 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)Like replacing "tummy" with "stomach" in sex scenes.
In my family, "tummy" is a word only used when talking about that body part on a younger-than-school-age child. Which makes me just NOPE on out of there, though it's a perfectly legitimate word choice.

(Anonymous) 2014-06-22 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)I can't even begin to number the amount of awesome porn fics I was reading, only to x out of them because the writer whipped out cutesy terms like 'pee-pee', 'vajayjay' (it physically hurt to write this), 'bouncy bouncies/chesticals', 'sausage' and more right in the sex scene.
Then again, I've also x'ed out of ones that went way, way too technical. Like, if I legitimately have to look up an official medical chart to know what the hell you're talking about, something's off.
