You seriously found Watership Down and The Last Unicorn to be "meaningless fluff"? ...I don't think you should go around badmouthing other people's taste in movies.

Also, you seem to think that animation is a genre. It really isn't.

Holy shit, I didn't even see The Last Unicorn in this secret. Including Watership Down was bad enough, but... I am legitimately at a loss for words.

Needless to say, I agree with you on all points.

Yeah, I... don't get it either. It's one thing if you just don't like those two movies -- everyone has different tastes, it's cool! -- but to say that they're "meaningless fluff"? It just doesn't make sense. It's like, did you even watch them?

I'm going to go with "Has to be troll" Take a bunch of people's favorite films as examples, go "All animation sucks and I'm too sophisticated for it" and use Watership Down as an example of fluff?

I was kind of thinking that, but I was reluctant to call troll, because I didn't want to be accused of thinking troll = someone I disagree with. I agree, though -- there's no reasonable way anyone could come to the conclusion that Watership Down (or The Last Unicorn, for that matter) were "either one note or meaningless fluff."
