You sound like a homophobic AND a heterophobic piece of shit, because I can think of no other reason for that line of deduction than "muscular fighting girl = not straight". Gross, OP. Feel bad.

How is it heterophobic?

(Anonymous) 2014-06-22 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Because it's saying straight women can't behave in a certain way or they're "REALLY lesbians."

That's not heterophobic. There is no such thing. That is just sexist.

(Anonymous) 2014-06-22 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, it's you.

(Anonymous) 2014-06-22 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmmm, I must admit I've been influenced by that! Not OP, but I've long been afraid to cut my hair short because that's a "Lesbian" way to look. I'm trying to get over some of my fear of that!!! It's not the end of the world if someone thinks I'm a lesbian, after all. I'm actually on the ace-hetero spectrum, but because I'm not interested in sex or makeup or dressing super girly, I've always worried peopel would think I wasn't "right." It's influenced me too much, I fear. :-(

Oh nooooo poor straight women!! Yes because being accused of being a lesbian is literally the WORST thing that a straight girl can be accused of lol okay

Heterophobia isnt a thing. For it to exist, straight people would have to be systematically oppressed. And they aren’t.
This isn't rocket science.

Exactly. (on both points)

Don't do that

By that logic, claustrophobia doesn't exist because we're not systematically abolishing closets.

Not that "heterophobia" was a great choice of word, but come on!

Re: Don't do that

But homophobia isn't a phobia. It's homo-discrimination. Not only is "heterophobia" NOT a phobia (i.e, something that can't be helped), but it's also not terribly significant due to the fact that heterosexuals are the majority and hold all the power. And when people say it doesn't "exist", this is what they really mean, not that it is literally impossible for someone somewhere to discriminate against heterosexuals.

(Anonymous) 2014-06-22 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Acting like heterophobia is actually a thing is kind of gross, too, so you might want to watch where you aim your indignation.

(Anonymous) 2014-06-24 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
ah yes, so much rampant and systematic oppression against the heterosexuals. Individuals can be biased against and claim to hate heterosexuals, but heterophobia is not, as you say, "a thing." Come back once you've educated yourself.
