This is only true up until a point, though. The idea that you can "listen to your body" and know eeeeeverything there is to know misses some very valid points:

* sometimes bodies are a bit messed up and won't be sending the proper signals
* sometimes deciphering those signals is difficult
* "listening to your body" is such a vague concept that it could mean anything

Sometimes I get a craving for pop. Would that be a healthy choice for my body? Sometimes I've eaten a more than adequate amount of a well-balanced meal, but I'm still hungry. Is overeating a wise message from my body? Some people are grossed out by vegetables. Are their bodies right because vegetables contain deadly toxins and should therefore be avoided?
