Re: Why did I read that?? (tw: multiple ick factors)
(Anonymous) 2014-06-24 03:44 am (UTC)(link)-Wuthering Heights. Dafuq was that book, it was weird and I thought it'd stop talking in someone else's POV but it kept going and going and it just bothered me and nothing about it was even remotely interesting.
-Fault in our Stars. Oh god, this book. Why, why did I buy it. I'm even ashamed to have it on my bookshelf, I'm thinking of just handing it to anyone who's willing to read it and refuse to take it back. It sucks. A lot. Everything about it is just....no.
-The Prophecy of the Sisters. Dear Lord, this book never ends. It's just pointless. It keeps going on and on about how they all have constant eye contact and 'ooooh, what is she doing in there? D:' and it keeps giving us new mysteries each time without solving the previous ones and at one point, I just stopped caring altogether.

(Anonymous) 2014-06-24 04:05 am (UTC)(link)but thank God there's someone else who hates The Alchemist. it's full of pseudo-spiritual, patronizing New Age BS. ugh.

It wasn't even trying to give us any moral advice or even solid story, it was all the same crap we hear each day that is sugarcoated with fancy lies and bullshit.
