(Anonymous) 2014-06-24 11:54 am (UTC)(link)Met a guy and had what I thought would be a one-night-stand. As luck would have it, we hit it off REALLY well. Since he lives a few hours away from me, we've got a thing going now where any time he can make it over or I can make it over there we have a quick visit and shag our brains out. In the meantime, there's the odd phone call or email and whatnot, but we haven't really made any sort of real commitment to each other and all told I think we've seen each other in person ... 4 times? 5? ... since we met.
The secret is I keep imagining us getting married. As in, dreamy-eyed, should-have-gotten-over-this-sort-of-fairy-tale-silliness-in-my-teens type of "ooh... woudln't it be reaaaaaaaaaally romantic if...." "what will everyone wear" and "oooh, we'd dance to these songs" type of idiocy. I'm almost 30! This is STUPID.
