Some of my gaming fandoms are leaning that way when they don't have to. I've been sort of disappointed in Tales of Xillia and the three most recent Fire Emblem games because of it.

This is mostly a graphical style comment, the plots getting grittier would be okay! Maybe even nice! Just... not the graphics, dear god. Why is Xillia's style so dark?? Why does Shadow Dragon feel like they made all the graphics and then darkened them by 20%????? Good fucking lord...
