(Anonymous) 2014-06-24 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)Either way, I've always thought putting her in just because people hate her is a stupid thing to do. Deliberately putting off readers by throwing a character they don't like in their face looses him money (not that it would hurt him at this point), and it actually hurts the character besides.
I wouldn't care if his putting her in more meant she was doing something significant or actively moving the plot, but like OP said, she's eating donuts and hotdogs; literally chewing up panels that could be devoted to plot or Ichigo. He can go close to a year without appearing in the manga for the time taken on the many side characters, and when he does show up those chapters are mostly devoted to his new power up or him listening to someone else monologuing.
