Edge of Tomorrow, and yes I would recommend it! It was a cracking good bit of scifi, Tom Cruise got the shit kicked out of him (the female lead shot him in the head at LEAST a hundred times as well), and I always love a good time-loop episode.

a friend of mine said it was "basically groundhog day with robots", to which i said "ok, i'm sold".
