Nope, first time hearing this. However, when I read the words "___ du jour" on comment threads or videos, I always think of some dish or soup that I'm craving for and wish to eat. Violence du jour, creepiness du jour, swarm mites du jour...

The mind can be very imaginative if you're in the right mindset.
