Re: what's the last movie you've seen? would you recommend it?
i think it holds up very well and doesn't look aged at all, which is amazing for this type of movie. i also love ripley; she was one of the few female characters i looked up to growing up.
i haven't seen any of the sequels, though. i've heard aliens is a pretty good action movie.

(Anonymous) 2014-06-26 01:55 am (UTC)(link)On the other hand, while Alien Resurrection has the shittiest FX, it's way more imaginative than A3. I find it best to think of as an AU story, much like AVP. It certainly has a much more memorable supporting cast than A3 (and Prometheus, at that).
