Re: Who watched Teen Wolf on Monday?

Ha, yeah, TW....

Well, it had a few moments of fun, Lydia and Stiles being the stand-out bits, for me. I do love them. The whole 'must teach Malia how to be a human girl' thing is so fucking *stupid*. She knows how to do makeup, and dance at a rave, and be in high school, but Stiles has to 'teach her' to...what, exactly, now? Their 'romance' is so very forced, and hello, Anya, thought you were killed in the last season of Buffy.

The whole 'Kate is alive!!' torture thing was just...stupid. What *is* it with that show and the electro-shock torture porn? So gross. Plus - who in hell funded a four day trip to freaking Mexico? Gas alone would be nearly 1000 bucks in that freakin' Jeep....

Kira being bad-ass is always fun, Stiles attempting to fix his Jeep was fun, Braeden (sp?) is awesome, and even *more* attractive *with* the scars but the whole 'why didn't you kiss your girlfriend?' convo at the jaguar temple was out-there idiotic.

It was fun to watch online with my buddy and snark. It was *not* 'good television'.

Makeup and dancing are easier than social graces imo.

Unless you're actively ripping out throats? her only 'lacking' social graces that i could see were 'i'd leave so and so behind, they're wounded/injured'. And also - not people she's known and loved for years, so...not really that big of a surprise?

She's supposedly been nothing but a *coyote* since she was eight or something. The simple fact that she's upright and eating with a fork and knife is a bit beyond the pale, but doing the sexy dance at a Mexican rave so she can throw off the 'bad guys'? Whatever.

She shouldn't be able to go to high school either. She missed several years of school so how can they put her in classes with everyone else? I really like Malia but the writers aren't doing a good job with her so far.

They really aren't. I mean - sure, were-coyote, that's awesome, more supernatural things, i love it. Little girl who changed and accidentally killed her family, traumatized and reverting to her were shape to cope - awesome! Bring on the trauma and the healing!

But they skipped all that for 'sexy romance girl' for Stiles and...Anya-esque statements that are just...meh.
*sigh*
