What is the weirdest event you wish would occur or be proven to be real (in relation to conspiracies)?

I ask because I was looking at an old newspaper and it was talking about Dennis Rodman going to North Korea. I realized that nothing would astound me more than if I woke up one day to the headline, "KIM JONG UN ASSASSINATED! US GOVERNMENT REVEALS DENNIS RODMAN HAS BEEN AN UNDERCOVER AGENT THIS ENTIRE TIME!"

That would be the even I would tell my grandchildren about. "Kids, I was alive the day Dennis Rodman killed the North Korean dictator. *pulls out picture of Dennis Rodman from my wallet* He truly changed the world."

I can't be the only person who has these weird thoughts (at work while listening to the same pop song for the hundredth time). Anyone else?

This will sound odd, but that some celebrities, like Elvis, really staged their death and were/are alive somewhere.

Why? Because it somehow appeals to me they'd get a second chance to start over all fresh.

I bet you Jim Morrison is alive and probably a serial killer.

I think a lot of the creepiest conspiracies happen right under our noses.

Monsanto springs immediately to mind. A corporation that infiltrates protests groups and collects information on them, issues death threats, and owns its own private mercernary army? Nope, nothing terrifying there at all.

As for one I'd like to be proven true? Area 51 I guess. Other life existing out there. :)

I love conspiracy theory stuff. I listen to a podcast about them! Mmmm I'd love to have the JFK shooting conspiracies proven once and for all.

I think the world might be a better place if UFO cultists were right. And bigfoot.

I so want bigfoot to be proven one way or another.

Either a completely new species, or a mass cultural phenomenon - both are so interesting.

The Loch Ness Monster! That has always been my favorite one.

I am so into Big Foot being real, you wouldn't believe. It would make my life.

Cryptozoology is kind of my guilty pleasure. I was really into when I was younger, and while I acknowledge that it probably has about as much basis in reality as cancer-curing coffee enemas, I still think it's cool.

I would love it in right in the middle of Time Square a magic fight broke out. Like a wizard vs. wizard fight. That way you have all the believers saying, "WE TOLD YOU SO THAT THE SUPERNATURAL IS REAL!" And you would have the skeptics scrambling trying to come up with scientific explanations how it's not magic but a new science that just came into light.

I'd be out buying all the salt and holy water I can find (can you buy that)? Because you know if wizards appear suddenly every other mythical creature ever will be showing up.

Not specifically Dennis Rodman assassinating Kim Jong Un, but yeah, stuff like that.

I quite frequently fantasize about giant embarrassing scandals hitting various members of the Republican Party. Something like...one of the super-judgmental holier-than-though rigid family-values anti-gay-marriage no-more-taxes-on-the-wealthy conservative Congressman in a leadership position getting caught spending taxpayer money on an underage male hooker. That would be SO beautiful.

I wish Courtney Love really had found Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, partly because I want the plane to be found and partly because it would have been hilarious to see CNN doing it's exhaustive reporting (six-person panels! holographic airplanes!) and Courtney Love is all "Guys, I got this..."
