Me tooo!!!! I was super into the Loch Ness monster and cryptozoology in general as a kid. It is just so fucking fascinating.

I really liked the idea that the Loch Ness monster was a plesiosaur that got trapped in the ice somehow(I mean it makes no sense when you actually think about it but kid-me was in love with the idea of a dinosaur still alive in the modern day).

Same. It is just an awesome idea and totally impossible, but I wanted to believe that so damn hard. And it was fun to think about what it would live on and how it continued to survive for so long.

Oh my god, same here. These comments and the thread are reigniting my love for cryptozoology wll over again. I've always been fond of myths, legends and folklore as well as animals, so the day I found out about cryptozoology was like fucking Christmas.
