I hate how damn gullible we've become. Where every internet news sob story is believed. And if you say, "Nah, this sounds fishy." You are called a monster. Never mind in the past few weeks more and more cons have been coming out into the light.

There's nothing wrong with being a little skeptical. I hate how any and all doubts in anything is automatically labeled as "victim shaming." What about protecting yourself from being a victim of a con?

This. Look at the KFC incident - people were calling for a nationwide boycott (nevermind that KFC can't really help what one franchise does) over something that appears to have been fabricated. And... people don't get that the internet was private back in the day, but it's not anymore because people stopped using fake usernames and started using their real ones. Especially teenagers, which never ends well, because they're teens. It's just sad.
