lol I'm guessing that's why I keep seeing people tagging their posts as "tw food" now. I saw one person who runs a headcanon blog use it on a post that mentions a character just drinking a cup of tea. it's....tea.

Just the other week I had sat down to drink a cup of tea when a fly landed in my cup. I didn't realize until I raised it to my lips, then recoiled in horror, spilling hot tea on my legs! So hdu mock the pain of those who have been ~triggered by tea~!

I had an acquaintance who was anorexic who wouldn't drink tea because she thought it had too many calories. She drank plain hot water.

That was my first experience with anyone having anorexia, and it really hit home how it fucks with you. She was one of the smartest people I'd ever met--a top-class biochem student--but you wouldn't know it to hear her talk about food.

It's fucked up. And a lot of the time it's like logically you *know* it's messed up but the rest of your brain is flashing giant neon warning signs not to eat/drink the thing. It's like your body and brain suddenly aren't your own anymore or something.
