Oh I need to check if the Twilight Zone marathon is going to be on!

If it is then that's what I'll be doing, and maybe I'll do my own marathon if it's not. My parents are going down to NYC for a Mets game so I'll be home alone.

Thank you for reminding me about that! Well, I know what I will be doing if it rains. Hell, I will probably watch it even if it doesn't. Who needs fireworks when you have The Twilight Zone?

I hope they do it this year.

It's a tradition dating back ten years at least, I swear. I used to watch the marathon when I was a kid. So, I'm sure they'll do it.

There was one year that they didn't do it. 2009 maybe? It was around the time they changed the name to Syfy. I remember there was a secret here about it. OP said they used a bunch of different emails to complain to them about not doing the marathon.

I just checked the schedule and it's on like always!

I hope they show Queen of the Nile. I've never seen it and want to so badly. What are some of your favorites?

I like Queen of the Nile. But let's see, my favorites would be Time Enough at Last, A World of His Own, The Howling Man, Nick of Time, A Penny for Your Thoughts, Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up, The Obsolete Man, The Midnight Sun, Number Twelve Looks Just Like You, and The Masks.

I'll stop there. I can never stop at just a couple favorites no matter what I'm talking about...

Number Twelve Looks Just Like You is so damn good and easily in my top five favorites. It is just super dressing, frustrating and an excellent commentary on standards of beauty and pressure to conform to them.

The Midnight Sun never fails to punch me in the gut with its ending. It is pure paranoia fuel and the desperation was palpable.

Yes! I get such a visceral feeling of dread from The Midnight Sun. The imagery (the painting running in the heat!) and the music are amazing and really add to it.

The worst part was that little hope spot then the reveal that instead of hurling toward the sun, the Earth will go further away and temperatures will drop significantly.

That episode is what nightmares are made of.

That one is one of my absolute favorites. You have good taste.

Hey, that's neat! I never realized they did that. I'll have to tune in one of these years when I'm just at home.
