It would be nice if more people understood that not everyone has read all of (or, in my case, any of) the manga yet. Hell, I don't even know where people read what isn't legitimately published in English to begin with, and I don't own anything beyond the first three volumes because I'm unemployed and manga isn't exactly a priority for me right now.

As it is, I HAD been pretty good at avoiding AoT manga spoilers thanks to friends and other people who were considerate about warning for them, but then you came along.

You can read it legally on Crunchyroll for free. They have all the chapters that haven't been released in a volume yet.

Is it? I just went to Crunchyroll and got a "digital version not available" and "buy on Amazon" for all volumes.

You don't need to read the text to realize that is AoT, just look at the fucking pictures.

Unless you haven't read it yet so don't recognize the pictures.

This fact has been available to manga readers for over a year.

There are plenty of newer more interesting spoilers. Bertholt being colossal really old info that is not even the point of the manga currently.

Sorry for not keeping up with what is a spoiler for you anime newbs. Read the manga and stop bitching that not everybody is as ridiculously behind as you.

None of that invalidates the point that: it is a relatively recent thing and it would have taken almost no effort for OP to include a spoiler warning.

It sucks, I think most fans for this fandom have been spoiled. The spoilers are everywhere. But there are still more mysteries to be answered. At least no one can spoil what's in the basement yet.

You know, before the anime started and the manga became popular in the west, I tried to read the first volume. I didn't understand what was going on with the big titan vanishing and I was curious, I didn't plan to read the whole manga back then so I googled "colossal titan". First result, the wiki that redirects me to Bertl: he's actually a human who turns into a titan. My face then was priceless.

It's been out for months. Get the fuck over it and catch up.

months isn't that long...people have lives. not everyone reads everything right away. a spoiler warning would have taken 5 seconds for OP to type out

Actually it's been out probably 1-2 years.

Recently we just learned a certain characters real last name which pretty much overshadows the titan shifter business by a long shot.

that doesn't invalidate my point at all though...
