(Anonymous) 2014-06-29 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)Some reviewers fail to realize that, unless they are participating in a fic exchange, a kinkmeme, or a fandom charity auction, they don't get to demand that authors write stories tailored to their shipping/kink/character preferences, and bash them for writing other stories instead.

I agree!
And I get very annoyed when a reviewer critiques a story as if they know better than the author when in fact they don't write themself. It's the case of - you know better? then do it yourself. Sorry for ranting, but I've seen this thing just today.
