Because calling someone "darling" = automatic shipping. Obviously. God I hate that pairing.

Oh and The Closer... I don't know where exactly the Brenda/Sharon ship materialized from but I don't understand it. I mean I appreciate a fandom with a prominent femslash ship, but that one just comes out of nowhere to me. It just seems that Fritz and Brenda complete each other way better than Sharon would? Also maybe I just want a Fritz of my very own? Who wouldn't?!

Pretty sure the Brenda/Sharon thing came from the fact that they really butted heads a lot in the series. It's pretty much the classic "I don't seem to like you, therefore I must be in love with you" trope.
