Re: Why on Earth am I still watching this crap?

Usually when I keep with something it's because I'm hoping the show/game/whatever will get back the 'spark' that intrigued me in the first place, but it doesn't often happen. If I'm getting nothing at all out of the series anymore (or if I can barely bring myself to watch/play/etc, and it starts to feel like a chore) then I'll usually drop it. No matter how much a part of me might want to stick around 'just in case'. (There aren't many exceptions, and when I do make exceptions it's usually because I like a particular character so much I watch for them. This might be me with Teen Wolf this season, if it's awful.)

Might drop Covert Affairs this season, actually, despite (mostly) liking last season. I don't feel the show sucks, but from what I understand the canon ship (that I actually like!) is off again and I'm getting really frustrated with the back and forth, and not sure I want to sit through another season of that even if the rest of the show is good.

I dropped Suits last season because I just didn't care enough. Harvey is hot, Jessica is hot, Donna is hot, but tbh very little about that show was catching my interest anymore and I was having to force myself to watch it. The same thing happened with White Collar a season or two ago (I never thought I could get tired of Matt Bomer's face, but apparently it is possible). I'm worried about next season of The Walking Dead too actually, because I thought last season was massively boring and totally disappointing.

Has it been worth it to keep watching for just one character? Maybe it would be rewarding to see a plotline dedicated to this particular character, but otherwise it seems like chore.

We are talking about Teen Wolf, right?

I actually liked (some of) season three, and LOVED the whole nogitsune Stiles thing, so even if the ending of the season fell flat (and so many little details or plots were dropped; that got to me as well) and what the show did to Allison pissed me off I kind of want to see where they go with him. If he's truly going to be shown as different now that he's been responsible (in some way, even if he's a victim too) for such death and misery. However since this is Teen Wolf, he's probably just going to get laid a lot and make lots of snarky jokes.

Also I really love Derek even if the show abuses him WAY too much, and the parents are awesome. But ngl, if Stiles wasn't around I probably wouldn't bother. I almost don't want to anyway, after the season 4 premiere.

So is it worth it? ...I honestly don't know. Apparently there's going to be lots of Lydia this season? So if Lydia if your favorite, I bet it would be worth it.
