Though I dont equate "I got bored with it" (subjective) with "they went to crap" (objective), shows that I got bored with and stopped watching:

Heroes
Lost Girl
Doctor Who
Halt and Catch Fire

Aww, what happened to Lost Girl? That was one of the shows I always meant to watch because people kept saying it was awesome.

You know, except for one or two eps I enjoyed Season 1 a lot, but I remember that the Big Bad in S2 was kinda ... disappointing. And to me the f/f romance began to feel more and more like fan service instead of an authentic relationship. There were characters on the show I absolutely adored, but they were all supporting/minor characters, and they just didn't get enough screen time to keep me interested.

But seriously, YMMV, so definitely give it a try? It really was quite inventive and fun.

I should also mention that I am old and impatient and become bored very easily. *g*
