Shows you stopped watching because they went to crap!

Law and Order SVU because I miss the hell out of Elliot and Munch. It just isn't the same show to me anymore.

Heroes, and I'm cringing at the thought of the mini-series continuation.

BBC Sherlock. The twist Season Three ending that everyone in production said would blow the viewers' mind was so... disappointing.

TBH, I didn't miss UnSabler much as he was always my least favorite. But Munch, Warner, and Huang I miss deeply.

Do comics count? I have a lot of issues with genderbend comics, and generally avoid reading them, but I heard Misfile directly addressed some of the problems with the genre, so I read it for a while. Then it felt like it was still falling into the same traps, so I ditched it again. (Apparently it's still going and has addressed some of its earlier issues, but I don't really care enough to pick it back up again--all I wanted was for Ash to get his life back, and it looked like that was never going to happen.)

Supernatural I gave up a couple years ago because it had just become a completely different show from the one I originally loved.

White Collar, kind of the same thing, what I originally liked about it had changed enough that I couldn't imagine it ever getting back to where it was.

Royal Pains I just recently decided to give up because the storylines set up in the current season's premiere just don't interest me at all (long lost relative? blah).

Criminal Minds I was already kind of losing interest in because the writing had gone way downhill and then I read an interview with one of the actors that made me really dislike him, and that was enough to be done with it.

The deal with Sherlock, though, everyone was saying season 3 was so awful but it turned out to be my favorite season of all and I can't wait for season 4.

Anyway, in my case: Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl (though tbh, this one was crap from the start but I hoped it'd get better. Also Glee was utter bullshit) and Lost.

Oh, and Game of Thrones.

I try to pretend that Season 5 of The West Wing never happened. Does that count?

Does the entire DCU count? Because yeah, as soon as the New 52 reboot was announced, I was outta there.

Modern Family, though I came back when I heard it'd gotten better again. It's always been really hit or miss with me though.

And Happy Endings... I hated half the characters, especially Penny. Who I think we were supposed to love. I didn't.

Oh, Sherlock definitely. Also, SPN, Teen Wolf, The Walking Dead, True Blood, and Legend of Korra. I've tried and dumped a lot of the major shows, actually, even if I'm still kicking around in some of the fandoms.

Glee. I liked the first few episodes but I found things were starting to go downward very early. I jumped ship before season 1 was over and from everything I've heard about the show's direction, it was a good decision.

Do webseries count? I used to enjoy the Nostalgia Critic but then I slowly started to get tired of him. I still like other reviewers on the site!

Though I dont equate "I got bored with it" (subjective) with "they went to crap" (objective), shows that I got bored with and stopped watching:

Heroes
Lost Girl
Doctor Who
Halt and Catch Fire

Torchwood. Also, Sherlock, but everyone else has said that already.

Eureka. I was a huge fan for a long time but I wasn't really into the last two seasons

I don't know that they all "went to crap," but...

Castle (halfway through S6) [Goddamn you to hell, Pi.]
Criminal Minds (after whenever Prentiss left the first time)
The Drew Carey Show (after the second-to-last season)
Elementary (halfway through S2)
Family Guy (after S7)
Glee (after S1)
Grey’s Anatomy (after S4)
Hannibal (halfway through S2)
Heroes (halfway through S3)
Law & Order: SVU (???)[I just woke up one day & realized I didn't watch it every week like I used to]
Modern Family (after S3)
The Office (after S5)
Psych (after S3)
Supernatural (after S5)
Teen Wolf (halfway through S3)
That ‘70s Show (after the second-to-last season)
Sherlock (after S2)

I'd kind of like to quit The Simpsons but I can't bring myself to do it yet (too much nostalgia still there).

The X-Files. Just...the sixth season was wacky but tolerable at least, and then the downhill descent was so fast and terrible from there that I fucked promptly off.

Can I use books? Because Anita Blake's series stopped being the neato series it used to be.

Dexter. I got spoiled for

[spoiler]

John Lithgow's character killing Rita, and I just noped out. From what I've heard, that's probably for the best.

Ditto all three of those. The whole of Sherlock series 3 was just mind blowingly bad it made the preceding seasons look like frigging Shakespeare.

CSI
Game of Thrones
Doctor Who
X-Files

I wish I hadn't bothered watching the last season of The Wire, if that counts.

House and Supernatural are the two big ones.

I can't decide if I'm angrier about House because it was a more abrupt turn to idiocy and I kept watching or angrier about Supernatural because I kept watching longer and should have known better by then.

Bones wasn't bad when it started, but got worse.
