I just looked up a picture of it... and yeah, the largest of the dark-haired members could be a rather androgynous (for the animation style) woman.

I think the problem is that people probably jumped to conclusions about the role in the family of the blond guy in the centre. For all we know, he could be Oaken's younger brother, since Oaken is fairly light-haired as well (his beard is somewhere between blond and a light ginger).

Yeah. I mean, she follows the "young attractive female" mold of this movie: big eyes, tiny nose, tiny mouth and petite.

One of the theories is that he's a brother XD
