Well, yeah, you can't make three movies out of a fairly short children's book and keep *all* the dwarves as two dimensional characters who are barely distinguishable (which is intentional). I wish they hadn't decided to practically push the character whose perspective the story is supposed to be from (the clue is in the title) almost off the screen for half the time though!
