People using the ultra passive aggressive comeback of 'you're so cute' in an argument.

Instant RAGE eve if it's not aimed at me. It's patronising and unnecessary.

Mind if I add the use of patronizing uses of shit like honey, sweetie, etc in argumemts? Because that makes my blood boil.

I usually only do this when talking to trolls (like radfem troll here, people like that), mostly because I think people like that deserve every bit of condescension they can possibly get.

AYRT Go right ahead. Maybe it should be amended to 'people being patronizing in an argument'.

People who think that every issue has two extreme sides, and you're either on one side or the other. No "undecided." No middle ground.

Like this:
Person A: I have an opinion on a subject, what do you think?
Person B: I'm not sure/I don't know yet/I might agree with part of your opinion but not all of it
Person A: Oh so you believe the EXTREME OPPOSITE of my opinion? Let me explain to you why you're wrong AND and an extremist who pretty much just trampled all over my rights by expressing that opinion and you are basically the modern equivalent to Hitler.

The problem? Person B was supposed to say "Yeah, I agree with you totally." But they didn't so they are THE ENEMY. It it makes more sense for the enemy to be extreme and irrational, so that's what they'll be even if their comment was not at all extreme or irrational.

Oh, and people who think being undecided on an issue is a bad thing or a sign of weakness. Because everyone should have their opinions fully formed without thinking about the subject for even two minutes.

Yeah exactly.

I once stated something about a heated issue before saying that I NEVER shared this opinion with almost anyone and rarely talked about it.

They then told me I had an asshole opinion that was "oppressing people",how on earth can I be oppressing anyone if I don't talk about it with very many people and go out of my way to avoid the topic when it's brought up?

It's like they hear "opinion that is not like mine " and then went into full "RAWR HOW DARE YOU" mode.

There's a BNF in the Game of Thrones fandom who is pretty much "Person B". Pisses me off.
