When people post a picture of fandom characters with elaborate headcanons because they're touching in the picture or they're looking into each other's eyes with longing or they're leaning in for a kiss or they're reaching out to one another because they're so in love and it's so obvious that they're meant to be together...

But they're not. They're standing perfectly straight and looking at the camera and I'm beginning to worry about you, online friends, because your fandom-colored glasses are hindering your perception of reality.

Oh god. I thought I was the only one. In my fandom they do this with scenes where the original context is the two characters getting pissy with each other. And not in an enemies with sexual tension way, more like friends who have been getting on each othrs nerves way in a really unsexy way. Cue picture with some sappy text slapped underneath like 'so in love!!!'.
