(Anonymous) 2014-07-02 12:12 am (UTC)(link)I've ready plenty of fanfics (that the authors most assuredly were not paid for) that still were polished and well-edited. If someone who does it entirely for free and for fun has the capability to edit their work properly, I really don't see how someone who expects to get paid for their work can't manage the same thing.
